When is Kick-Off?

Burnley host Brighton on Saturday 13 April at Turf Moor in a 3pm BST kick-off, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Burnley have lost one of their last five meetings against Brighton (W1, D3, L1).
  • Brighton have one of their five previous Premier League visits to Burnley (W2, D2, L1).
  • Burnley have lost two of their last three home games against Brighton by a 2-1 result.
  • Jacob Bruun Larsen has scored in each of Burnley’s last two home matches (W1, D1).
  • Failure to score would see Brighton go three consecutive league matches without scoring for the second time in 2024.

Prediction

After their four-match unbeaten run was ended at Everton through an unfortunate goalkeeping mistake and poor finishing, Burnley now need to just reset and try to find a win here if they’re to make inroads on their relegation rivals.

Brighton meanwhile never really stood much chance against Arsenal but they were wasteful whenever they got opportunities, so they need to bounce back quickly because they need a win here because their final five games do look tricky if want to snatch European qualification.

On that note, victory is absolutely imperative for both teams for different reasons but Burnley do have the better form, yet Brighton do have the quality to scrape a result so a draw might be a safe result but not ideal for both teams.

Prediction: Burnley 1-1 Brighton

Result: Burnley 1-1 Brighton
