2023-24 Premier League: Week 25 – Tottenham vs Wolves

Tottenham Hotspur continue their battle for a top-four finish against Wolves at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Victory would see Tottenham stay fourth in the table, whilst Wolves can go 10th with a win until Chelsea play in the late kick-off.

Pedro Porro is ruled out for Tottenham with a muscle injury.

Fraser Forster (foot) and Destiny Udogie (knee) are also ruled out

Giovani Lo Celso (hamstring) could return but Manor Solomon (knee) and Ryan Sessegnon (knock) remain ruled out.

Wolves will be without Matheus Cunha after he suffered a serious hamstring injury in their defeat against Brentford last weekend.

Hwang Hee-chan however is set to return after he missed the home loss with a calf injury.

When is Kick-Off?

Tottenham face Wolves at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 17 February at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Having kept their top-four push on course following a clinical comeback win over Brighton where they were shaky at times, Tottenham certainly could of done without losing Porro and Udogie who has been amongst their best attacking players on the flanks.

Wolves meanwhile didn’t really do much wrong in their defeat to Brentford aside from poor marking of both goals because they otherwise defended well, whilst their attack was frustrated by an inspired Mark Flekken in goal.

This clash therefore should be quite interesting in terms of how Spurs cope without Porro and Udogie, especially against a Wolves team who will hope to get back to their best now Hwang is back – despite Cunha’s absence, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if this somehow is a draw.

Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Wolves

Result: Tottenham 1-2 Wolves
