In-form Bournemouth welcome Premier League relegation-battling Luton to the Vitality Stadium.
If Fulham and Chelsea both fail to win elsewhere, victory would see Bournemouth climb to 10th in the table.
Luton meanwhile will stay 18th but move to within one point of safety with a win.
Team News
Hamed Traore could return for Bournemouth after illness forced him to miss their last four matches.
Darren Randolph (illness), Ryan Fredericks (calf), Alex Scott (knee), Max Aarons, Lloyd Kelly, Tyler Adams (all hamstring) and Emiliano Marcondes (foot) remain absent.
Luton will welcome Issa Kabore back into contention after he was ineligible to feature in their defeat to Manchester City last weekend.
Reece Burke (thigh) and Gabriel Osho (knee) could feature but Marvelous Nakamba is suspended for this game.
Dan Potts (hamstring) and Cauley Woodrow (calf) remain ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Bournemouth host Luton at Vitality Stadium in a 3pm GMT kick-off on Saturday 16 December, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- This is Bournemouth’s first Premier League meeting against Luton.
- Luton have won two of their last five league visits to Bournemouth (W2, D1, L2).
- The team playing at home in the last two league meetings between Bournemouth and Luton have scored the opening goal and went on to win the match.
- Dominic Solanke has scored four goals in three of his last four home appearances for Bournemouth.
- Luton’s Elijah Adebayo is looking to score in three consecutive league games for the first time since January.
Prediction
Unbeaten in six of their last seven games and having ruthlessly stunned Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend, Bournemouth have definitely found their spark especially in their intensity and press which will surely be their biggest asset in a game which they should look to win.
Luton meanwhile mounted a solid performance against Man City and deserve praise for managing to take the lead, yet two sloppy defensive mistakes in quick succession were clinically punished by the champions so more consistency at the back will be key to unlocking further points.
Bournemouth however are in strong form and if they play like they did at Man Utd, I can see them taking a comfortable win but Luton’s defence will be tough to break down with a quality goalkeeper in Thomas Kaminski to boot.
Prediction: Bournemouth 2-1 Luton
Result: Bournemouth A-A Luton
