Nottingham Forest meet Brighton & Hove Albion at the City Ground in a mid-table Premier League clash.
Victory could see Forest climb to 12th if Crystal Palace lose at Luton, whilst Brighton can go sixth with a win if Newcastle fail to beat Chelsea.

Stat Attack
- Forest are unbeaten in two previous Premier League meetings against Brighton (W1, D1).
- Brighton lost 3-2 in their only previous Premier League visit to Forest in April 2023.
- Forest have scored three goals in each of their last two home games against Brighton.
- Forest have scored in all five league matches at home this season (W2, D3).
- Brighton have scored in each of their last 28 league matches stretching back to March 2023, during which they netted 58 goals in total.
Prediction
Having suffered a frustrating defeat at West Ham, Forest certainly shouldn’t be disappointed with their effort because they absolutely deserved a point at minimum if not for three defensive marking mistakes – especially at set pieces which must improve if want to avoid conceding sloppy goals.
Brighton meanwhile seem to be in a domestic rut with no wins in their last six league games but they have done well to grind out five draws and sit eighth, which is respectable but their end product has to be better because they really should of beaten Sheffield Utd last time out.
Both teams though do have plenty of attacking quality in them so I can see a tough but entertaining encounter, which might well finish all square but Brighton probably could do with a return to winning ways heading into a busy few weeks.
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-1 Brighton
Result: Nottingham Forest 2-3 Brighton
