ITV and BBC have announced their broadcast picks across the four Quarter-Finals at 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

ITV held the first, second and fourth picks at this stage and chose to select England’s Quarter-Final tie against Colombia live from Stadium Australia, Sydney, Australia, with kick-off at 11:30am UK Time on Saturday 12 August.

Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses qualified for the last eight by virtue of defeating Nigeria 4-2 on penalties, following a tense goalless draw in their Round of 16 encounter.

Colombia meanwhile scraped past Jamaica through Catalina Usme’s 51st minute winner in a tight contest.

That match forms the second-part of a double-header on 12 August with ITV second picking Australia’s match against France at Lang Park, Brisbane, which kicks off at 8am UK Time with ITV’s coverage commencing at 7:30am for 30 minute build-up.

Australia qualified for this stage with a clinical 2-0 win over Denmark courtesy of goals from Caitlin Foord and Hayley Raso, whilst France hammered debutants – Morocco 4-0 with Eugenie Le Sommer netting twice.

ITV will also broadcast the opening Quarter-Final tie which sees 2019 runners-up, Netherlands face Spain at Wellington Regional Stadium, Wellington, New Zealand, on Friday 11 August in an early-morning kick-off at 2am UK Time.

Netherlands comfortably beat South Africa 2-0 to set up their all-European clash against Spain, who had breezed past Switzerland in a 5-1 win to reach the Quarter-Finals for the first time in their history.

All three of ITV’s Quarter-Final picks will be broadcast live on ITV1.

BBC’s only Quarter-Final match sees 2011 winners, Japan meet Olympics runners-up, Sweden at Eden Park, Auckland, New Zealand at 8:30am UK Time on Friday 11 August, with the tie broadcast live on BBC One which will have build-up from 8am.

Japan comfortably beat Norway 3-1 to reach this stage for the first time since 2015, whilst Sweden sprung a shock victory over reigning champions, USA on penalties following a goalless draw to advance to this stage.

BBC will have both semi-finals across 15-16 August live exclusively on BBC One, whilst ITV will have the Third-Place Play-Off on Saturday 19 August at 11am UK Time.

Both UK broadcasters will broadcast the Final live on Sunday 20 August at 11am UK Time.
