Bournemouth host Chelsea at Vitality Stadium in a mid-table Premier League clash.
Locked on 39 points apiece with Chelsea sat above Bournemouth on goal difference, victory could see either team climb to 11th if Crystal Palace lose elsewhere.
A draw though would be enough for Chelsea to move above Palace in the table.

Stat Attack
- Bournemouth are unebaten in four of their last six league meetings against Chelsea (W3, D1, L2).
- Chelsea have won three of their last five visits to Bournemouth (W3, D1, L1).
- Frank Lampard’s Blues have scored twice in each of their last two meetings against Bournemouth (W1, D1).
- Dominic Solanke has been involved in 13 league goals for Bournemouth this season, having netted six goals and provided seven assists.
- Chelsea have scored just four headed league goals this season, with Kai Havertz heading in three goals whilst Wesley Fofana headed in just one goal.
Prediction
With safety now virtually assured after a clinical win against Leeds despite having to defensively weather the visitors’ early attacking pressure, Bournemouth can take heart from how devastating they were in their turnover attacks at high pace with a ruthless end product.
Chelsea meanwhile just continue to lack confidence in their end product despite snatching a goal in their loss at Arsenal, with players seen arguing on the bench whilst their on-pitch demeanour looked broken with no passion or energy to mount much of a fight back.
In fact, this is the perfect time for Bournemouth to be playing an out-of-form Chelsea such is the contrastable form and quality in attack, which Gary O’Neil’s Cherries must take if they want to finish above Frank Lampard’s Blues.
Prediction; Bournemouth 2-0 Chelsea
Result: Bournemouth 1-3 Chelsea
