Leicester City host Bournemouth at the King Power Stadium in the battle for Premier League survival.
Victory would see Leicester move above Bournemouth and climb out of the relegation zone, whilst the Cherries could move out of the bottom three with at least a draw if West Ham, Everton and Nottingham Forest all lose elsewhere.
Team News

Kieran Dewsbury-Hall is suspended for Leicester after he was red carded in their midweek defeat against Aston Villa.
Jonny Evans (hamstring) is a doubt but Ryan Bertrand (knee), Jannik Vestergaard (personal), Youri Tielemans (ankle) and James Justin (Achilles) remain absent.
Bournemouth could be without Marcos Senesi after he suffered a hamstring injury during their midweek defeat to Brighton.
Ryan Fredericks (calf) and Junior Stanislas (unspecified) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Leicester host Bournemouth at King Power Stadium on Saturday 8 April at 3pm BST, untelevised in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Leicester have won two of their last five meetings against Bournemouth (W2, L3), which both came at home in March and August 2019 respectively.
- Bournemouth are yet to win away to Leicester in the Premier League (D3, L2).
- Jamie Vardy has scored three goals across Leicester’s last two home games against Bournemouth (W2).
- Each of Leicester’s last two red card bookings have come in their last two home matches, with Wout Faes and Kieran Dewsbury-Hall sent off against Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively.
- Bournemouth have conceded three goals in each of their last two away games (L2).
Prediction
Following Brendan Rogers’ departure last weekend, Leicester looked more confident against Villa but poor end product and marking cost them a draw, whilst their discipline at home needs to be calmer because they can’t afford to be imploding at this stage of the season with silly red cards.
Bournemouth meanwhile were just outclassed by Brighton in midweek but credit to their defence for digging in to limit their loss to just two goals, whilst their end product was simply wasteful despite some decent attacking build-up play.
Victory therefore is imperative for both teams if want to escape the relegation zone, especially more so for Leicester because if they lose here and Forest, Everton and West Ham all win elsewhere, it could leave the Foxes adrift of safety.
I though am backing Leicester to get the win because Bournemouth’s away record is poor and despite their upturn in goals, their defence does feel there for the taking if the Foxes can maximise their attacking quality.
Prediction: Leicester 2-1 Bournemouth
Result: Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth
