Roundup of the second matchweek of UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying, which featured all five home nations in action.
With qualifying for UEFA Euro 2024 now well underway, this matchweek saw the first opportunity for some teams to pull a gap on their group rivals, whilst those who didn’t participate in the first matchweek finally got their qualifying campaigns underway.
Now, here is a full roundup of all the qualifying action across every group.
Group A

Scotland sit top of Group A after Scott McTominay’s brace produced a shock home victory over Spain at Hampden Park, Glasgow, which means that Spain sit second in the group.
Georges Mikautadze rescued Georgia a 1-1 draw at home to Norway after the Norwegians took an early lead through Alexander Sørloth’s 15th minute goal.
Group B
Benjamin Pavard’s 50th minute strike from long range ensured that France stay top of Group B with a 1-0 away win against Republic of Ireland.
Memphis Depay’s strike plus Nathan Ake’s brace saw Netherlands hammer Gibraltar 3-0 in Rotterdam to move up to third in the group.
Group C

Bukayo Saka provided the assist for Harry Kane’s opening goal before he produced a stunning strike just moments later, as England clinched a dominant 2-0 home win over Ukraine to stay top of Group C.
First-half goals from Mateo Retegui and Matteo Pessina saw Italy defeat Malta 2-0 to climb to second in the group.
Group D
Kieffer Moore’s 41st minute header saw Wales scrape a 1-0 home win over Latvia and go top of Group D, by virtue of their away goal against Croatia in matchweek one.
Croatia though sit second after Mateo Kovacic’s first-half brace secured a 2-0 away win over Turkey in Bursa.
Group E
Czech Republic stayed top of Group E despite being held to a goalless draw away to Moldova in Chisinau.
Poland moved up to second in the group courtesy of Karol Swiderski’s 41st minute winner against Albania in Warsaw.
Group F

Austria remain top of Group F after snatching a comeback 2-1 home win over Estonia in Linz, courtesy of second-half goals from Florian Kainz and Michael Gregoritsch after Rauno Sappinen had put the visitors into a 25th minute lead.
Sweden climbed to third in the group after thrashing Azerbaijan 5-0 in Solna, with Emil Forsberg, Viktor Gyokeres, Karl Karlsson and Anthony Elanga also on the score sheet – although the latter three players scored after Behlul Mustafazade scored a 65th minute own-goal.
Group G
Late goals from Dusan Vlahovic saw Serbia clinch a 2-0 away win over Montenegro in Podgorica to stay top of Group G.
Hungary climbed to second with a 3-0 home victory over Bulgaria, in which Balint Vécsei, Dominik Szoboszlai and Martin Adam all found the net in the opening 39 minutes.
Group H
Benjamin Sesko fired Slovenia top of Group H in a 2-0 home win over San Marino, which was completed by Roberto Di Maio’s 60th minute own-goal.
Denmark consequently slipped to second following a shock 3-2 loss away in Kazakhstan having led 2-0 through Rasmus Højlund, before Bakhtiyar Zaynutdinov, Askhat Tagybergen and Abat Aymbetov completed Kazakhstan’s shock comeback win.
Benjamin Källman struck a 28th minute winner as Finland scraped past Northern Ireland in a scrappy 1-0 win in Belfast.
Group I
Switzerland remain top of Group I after smashing Israel 3-0 in Geneva, with Ruben Vargas, Zeki Amdouni and Silvan Widmer all on the scoresheet.
Romania once again sit second after first-half goals from Nicolae Stanciu and Andrei Burca proved enough to beat Belarus 2-1 in Bucharest.
Albert Rosas cancelled out Edon Zhegrova’s opening goal as Andorra fought back to snatch a 1-1 draw away to Kosovo, with both goals scored in the space of two minutes midway through the second-half.
Group J

Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace plus goals from Joao Felix, Bernardo Silva, Otavio and Rafael Leäo completed a rampant 6-0 away win for Group J leaders, Portugal against Luxembourg.
Robert Mak and Lukás Haraslin both netted for second-placed Slovakia in a 2-0 home win over Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Aron Gunnarsson’s hat-trick fired Iceland to a 7-0 away victory against Liechtenstein, with Davio Olafsson, Hákon Arnar Haraldsson, Andri Guojohnsen and Mikael Egill Ellertsson also finding the net in Vaduz.
