Manchester United will face Sevilla in the Quarter-Finals of 2022-23 UEFA Europa League.
Utd will face six-time winners, Sevilla in their Quarter-Final tie with the first leg set to be played at Old Trafford on Thursday 13 April.
This tie also means that United have faced Spainish opposition in all four stages of this season’s Europa League, having played Real Sociedad in the Group Stage followed by Barcelona and Real Betis in Knockout Play-Off and Round of 16 respectively.
Sevilla meanwhile overcame Turkey’s Fenerbahce to qualify for this stage despite losing the second leg 1-0 in Istanbul.
The winner of their tie will then meet Juventus or Sporting Lisbon – who beat Arsenal in Round of 16 on penalties – in the semi-finals, with the second leg played at home although the eventual winner of that semi-final will play as the home team in the Final.
Last season’s Europa Conference League finalists, Feyenoord and AS Roma – who defeated Feyenoord in the Final – will collide in a huge Quarter-Final tie, having overcome Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Sociedad in the Round of 16.
The winner of that tie will then meet either Bayer Leverkusen or Union Saint-Gilloise in the second semi-final, with the eventual winner of that semi-final playing as the away team in the Final.
Quarter-Final ties will be played over two legs across 13 & 20 April, before the semi-finals take place across 11 and 18 May – also across two legs.
This season’s Europa League Final will take place on 31 May at Puskas Arena, Budapest, Hungary.
