Wales manager, Rob Page has made several squad changes for their UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers against Croatia and Latvia.

In midfield, there are several changes as Matt Smith, Dylan Levitt and Rubin Colwill have been dropped, whilst Joe Allen and Jonny Williams have both retired from international football following a disappointing World Cup campaign.

Oli Cooper, Jordan James and Wes Burns consequently all come in for the snubbed trio, whilst Aaron Ramsey has been named as captain.

AFC Wimbledon’s Chris Gunter misses out in defence after his decision to retire from international football as Page otherwise names an unchanged defensive line-up, likewise with his goalkeeper selection as Wayne Hennessey, Danny Ward and Adam Davies retain their call-ups in goal.

Up front, Tom Bradshaw return to the squad after a five-year absence as he replaces Gareth Bale following the latter’s retirement, whilst Luke Harris comes in for Mark Harris who has been snubbed.

Brennan Johnson meanwhile has been named in the squad despite suffering an injury in Nottingham Forest’s defeat at Tottenham.
