2022-23 Premier League: Week 23 – Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a key London derby at opposite ends of Premier League table.

Victory would see Tottenham climb to fourth in the table, whilst a win would see West Ham climb out of the relegation zone and go up to 15th.

Tottenham have no fresh injury concerns to report after their defeat to AC Milan in the first leg of their Round of 16 tie in the Champions League.

Hugo Lloris (knee), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring), Rodrigo Bentancur (ACL) and Yves Bissouma (ankle) remain absent.

West Ham will be without Lucas Paqueta after he suffered a shoulder injury during their 1-1 draw against Chelsea last weekend.

Aaron Cresswell (illness), Nayef Aguerd (groin) and Gianluca Scamacca (knee) are doubts but Alphonse Areola (hamstring), Kurt Zouma (quad) and Maxwel Cornet (calf) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Tottenham host West Ham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 19 February at 4:30pm GMT, live on Sky Sports in UK.

Stat Attack

Prediction

With a depleted midfield, Tottenham were lucky to only suffer a 1-0 defeat at AC Milan in a game where they simply lacked much end product amidst their dominance in attack, which will need to improve here but manager, Antonio Conte will be a loss following his return to Italy.

West Ham meanwhile come to Spurs off the back of a competitive 1-1 draw against Chelsea last weekend, where they were clinical when able to get on the attack which they must replicate here whilst producing a tighter defence from the first whistle.

Now if they can do that and frustrate a wasteful Tottenham then the Hammers should snatch a draw otherwise I am going for a home win.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 West Ham

Result: Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 West Ham
