Speaking about his return to Trident, Novalak said that he is feeling “extremely happy” to reunite with the Italian team, having formed “an amazing partnership together” to secure 2021 F3 teams’ title despite a fierce battle against teammate, Jack Doohan in the season finale at Sochi, Russia.

Novalak also paid tribute to Trident founder, Maurizio Salvadori for entrusting him with a race seat for next season, as he added: “I’d like to thank Mr. Salvadori for the trust and I’m hoping we can have an amazing 2023 full of success.”

Trident Team Principal, Giacomo Ricci meanwhile is “proud” to welcome Novalak back to the team, as he commented: “He is a driver with undeniable and undisputed value who did really well with Trident Motorsport in Formula 3 and achieving the third position in 2021 Championship.”

On what the 21 year-old can bring to the team where he claimed four F3 podiums in 2021, Ricci said: “Novalak brings a year of experience with him in Formula 2 and I’m sure he will be able to make an important contribution to the team.”
