
BBC and ITV have announced televised picks for First Round of 2022-23 FA Cup.
BBC will kick off the First Round of 2022-23 FA Cup with live coverage from Edgar Street on Friday 4 November, as National League North’s Hereford host Portsmouth who sit three tiers above The Bulls in League One in a 7:55pm GMT kick-off on BBC Two.
South Shields’ clash against League One’s Forest Green Rovers will be televised live on BBC One on Saturday 5 November at 12pm GMT.
ITV will broadcast three matches across the First Round, with their first two live matches forming a double-header on Sunday 6 November, beginning with an all National League clash between Wrexham and Oldham at Racecourse Ground in a 12:30pm GMT kick-off.
Torquay will then host Derby County at Plainmoor in a 3pm kick-off that afternoon, which sees Paul Warne’s Rams enter this stage of the competition for the first time since 1985-86 season.
ITV’s coverage will conclude with seventh-tier Bracknell Town’s clash against League One’s Ipswich Town at Bottom Meadow on Monday 7 November, with the match kicking off at 7:45pm GMT.
All eight clubs involved in the selected TV matches will receive £50,000 in broadcast fee in addition to their prize money.
