BBC and Sky have announced their Women’s Super League picks across November and December 2022.
BBC will televise four Women’s Super League matches in total amidst a hectic period of sporting commitments for the broadcaster, beginning with Arsenal’s trip to Leicester at 2pm GMT on Sunday 6 November live on BBC Red Button and iPlayer.
Reading’s home match against Tottenham on Sunday 4 December will also air on BBC Red Button and BBC iPlayer, with kick-off confirmed for 12:30pm GMT.
BBC One will televise two local derbies towards end of 2022, beginning with Chelsea’s home clash against Tottenham on Sunday 20 November at 1pm GMT, which will be the lead-in programme for BBC’s coverage of Qatar’s opening match of 2022 FIFA World Cup against Ecuador.
The Manchester derby between Manchester City and Manchester United will be the final women’s match of the calendar year to air on BBC, with kick-off set for 12:30pm GMT on Sunday 11 December live on BBC One.
Sky will meanwhile broadcast six matches across November and December, beginning with a blockbuster clash between Man Utd and Chelsea on Sunday 6 November at 6:45pm BST.
Everton and Arsenal’s home clashes against Man City and Man Utd respectively will form a double-header on Saturday 19 November, with kick-offs confirmed for 3pm and 5:30pm GMT respectively on Sky Sports.
Man Utd’s home clash against Aston Villa has been selected for live broadcast on Saturday 3 December at 12:30pm GMT on Sky Sports.
Sky will then bring the curtain down on the first half of the season with a double-header on Sunday 11 December, as Arsenal visit Villa in a 4:15pm GMT kick-off, ahead of Chelsea’s home game against Reading from 6:45pm GMT at Kingsmeadow.
