Norwich have no fresh injury concerns to report following their now postponed trip to Burnley at the weekend.

Jacob Sorensen, Dimitris Gianoullis (both ankle), Isaac Hayden, Adam Idah (both knee) and Sam McCallum (foot) remain absent.

Bristol City could hand Stefan Bajic after he completed his recovery from a wrist injury.

Tomas Kalas, and Ayman Benarous (both knee) remain absent.

Stat Attack

  • Norwich are unbeaten in their last ten meetings against Bristol City (W7, D3).
  • Bristol City have claimed just one point from their last five visits to Carrow Road (D1, L4).
  • Norwich have conceded just two goals in their last four home matches against Bristol City, which came in a 3-2 win in February 2019.
  • Only three of eight Norwich players who have scored this season failed to also produce an assist in the Canaries’ first eight matches – Andrew Omobamidele, Max Aarons and Onel Hernandez.
  • Andreas Weimann has been involved in seven goals for Bristol City this season, having produced three goals and provided four assists in eight appearances.

Prediction

Although a week-and-a-half has passed since Norwich thrashed Coventry, they can come into this game full of confidence following another ruthless display which contained clinical attacking movement, whilst Josh Sargent again was a nightmare for oppositional defence to handle.

Bristol City meanwhile are on a six-match unbeaten run after losing their opening two matches and showed great dominance last time out at Blackburn, where they were clinical from both open play and aerially although they are yet to keep a clean sheet on the road this season.

This match therefore has the hallmarks of an entertaining encounter between two in-form teams who are currently riding a crest of high confidence and attacking quality, although Bristol City’s away defensive issues could be decisive.

Prediction: Norwich 2-1 Bristol City

Result: Norwich 3-2 Bristol City
