Speaking about her decision to extend her commitment to the club, Neville said: ““I’m super happy here – the girls, the coaching staff, the way we play, how far we’ve come in the last five years – the journey we’re on is something I want to be part of.”

Neville also paid tribute to manager, Rehanne Skinner who has also signed a new deal this week as she added: “Rehanne and the staff are great, we’re all on the same page. That’s what makes me want to be here even more, knowing that everyone is in it together.”

Skinner in turn praised Neville’s for her strong form this season and impact upon her teammates as she commented: “Ash has had an amazing season and is a fantastic person to have in the team. She epitomises what we are about at Spurs; hard work, competitiveness, and desire to improve.

“It’s important to ensure we have players with her quality helping us to progress as a team so that we can keep moving the Club forward.”

Neville began her career at her local club – Sporting Club Albion where she scored 16 goals in 33 appearances between 2011-13, prior to her move to Coventry United where she netted 20 goals in 69 appearances from 2013 to 2017.
