Sky Sports will televise the rearranged North London derby on Thursday 12 May 2022 as Premier League confirm the broadcast selection for matchweeks 36 and 37.
Tottenham Hotspur’s home clash against North-London rivals, Arsenal was postponed in January following a request from the Gunners, with the clash now set to be played on Thursday 12 May live on Sky Sports at 7:45pm BST with both teams currently fighting for fourth place.
Sky will also televise eight other matches across matchweeks 36 and 37 with the stand-out matches seeing Liverpool and Manchester City visit Southampton and West Ham respectively on Sunday 15 May at 4:30pm.
In fact, nine fixtures in matchweek 37 will be played on Sunday 15 May in order to avoid a clash with FA Cup Final day on 14 May, with the only clash not played on that day is Newcastle’s home clash against Arsenal which will air as the last Monday Night Football of this season on 16 May.
One of those two matches however will be moved to the following midweek of 17-18 May due to Liverpool or Man City featuring in this season’s FA Cup Final on 14 May, with both title rivals facing each other in the first semi-final on 16 April.
BT meanwhile will televise Liverpool’s home clash against Tottenham on Saturday 7 May at Anfield, with kick-off set for 7:45pm rather than BT’s traditional slot of 12:30pm due to a clash with the final day of the Sky Bet Championship season.
Tottenham’s home game against relegation battling Burnley has also been picked for live broadcast on BT on Sunday 15 May, with the match getting underway at 12pm.
