AFC Sudbury’s First Round tie against Colchester United features amongst six matches in the opening round of 2021-22 FA Cup selected for live TV Broadcast.
AFC Sudbury will welcome League Two’s Colchester United to King’s Marsh Stadium on Friday 5 November in a 7:55pm GMT kick-off, with the local derby selected for live broadcast on BBC Two.
BBC will also televise a second First Round tie under the terms of their new joint-deal with ITV, which sees St Albans City host Forest Green Rovers on Sunday 7 November in a 5:15pm kick-off, which also will be aired on BBC Two.
ITV meanwhile will broadcast four matches across the First Round weekend, starting with Barrow’s trip to Banbury United on Saturday 6 November on ITV4 in a 5:15pm kick-off.
Sunday 7 November will see ITV broadcast a double-header starting with an all-EFL clash between Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth Argyle at Hillsborough from 12:15pm, before coverage switches to ITV4 for Stratford Town’s tie against Shrewsbury Town.
ITV will bring their First Round coverage to a close on Monday 8 November with the final tie of the round, which sees League Two’s Salford visit Dagenham & Redbridge, which will be followed by the Second Round draw post-match.
