Brentford’s home clash against Arsenal on the opening weekend of 2021-22 Premier League season features amongst 14 selected matches for live TV coverage across Sky Sports and BT Sport.
Thomas Frank’s Bees make their Premier League bow live on Sky Sports in the 2021-22 season curtain raiser at Brentford Community Stadium on Friday 13 August 2021, with kick off scheduled for 8pm.
Sky will also televise Norwich’s return to the top-flight after an one season absence as they host Liverpool at Carrow Road on Saturday 14 August in a 5:30pm kick-off.
The opening Super Sunday sees West Ham visit Newcastle at 2pm before Tottenham Hotspur host reigning champions, Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a 4:30pm kick-off in North London.
Sky will then televise seven further matches throughout August including a cross-London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea on Sunday 22 August from 4:30pm, before Thomas Tuchel’s Blues visit Liverpool on Saturday 28 August in a 5:30pm kick-off.
BT Sport meanwhile start their season at Old Trafford as Manchester United meet Leeds United at 12:30pm on Saturday 14 August, followed by Burnley’s trip to Liverpool a week later before concluding their three August matches at the Etihad Stadium as Manchester City face Arsenal on Saturday 28 August at 12:30pm.
All other matches are set to return to the traditional 3pm slot on Saturday afternoons unless circumstances necessitates the need for all matches to be televised live.
