Stockton Town have announced that they will play Morpeth Town and Whitby Town in pre-season ahead of their 2021-22 campaign.
Having officially been handed promotion to Step Four of Non League System earlier this week, Stockton yesterday (19 May) confirmed three pre-season friendlies with these two latest fixtures taking their pre-season calendar up to five matches in 17 days.
Michael Dunwell’s Anchors will visit Northern Premier League’s Morpeth at Craik Park on Tuesday 20 July in a 7:45pm BST kick-off, with Stockton having won just one of four previous clashes against the Highwaymen.
Stockton will then host Whitby three days later on Friday 23 July in Friday Night Football at the MAP Group UK Stadium, with kick-off confirmed for 7:30pm BST, having beaten the Seasiders in their pre-season clashes in last two seasons by aggregate result of 5-1.
Confirmation of these two fixtures comes off the back of yesterday’s announcement that the Anchors will play Newton Aycliffe, Guisborough Town and Billingham Synthonia in their three opening pre-season outings.
