BBC have selected two all Premier League ties for live coverage in the Quarter Finals of 2020-21 FA Cup.
Chelsea’s home tie against Sheffield United will be transmitted live on BBC One on Sunday 21 March, with a 1:30pm (GMT) kick-off at Stamford Bridge as last season’s runners-up look to avoid a massive home cupset.
Leicester’s blockbuster home encounter against Manchester United at the King Power Stadium will then follow at 5pm (GMT), with live coverage also on BBC One who consequently inherit a Super Sunday of FA Cup action by virtue of Six Nations broadcasts ruling out coverage on Saturday 20 March.
BT therefore will televise their two Quarter Final picks on 20 March, commencing with a South Coast derby between Bournemouth and Southampton at Dean Court in a 12:15pm (GMT) start, as the Cherries look to become the first Championship club to qualify for the Semi Finals since Reading in 2015.
Everton’s mouth-watering home encounter against Manchester City will also be televised by the Pay-TV broadcaster, with a 5:30pm (GMT) kick-off at Goodison Park as the Toffees look to follow up their Fifth Round win over Tottenham with another major scalp.
Should any of these four ties finish level at the end of ninety minutes, extra time will take place with penalties potentially following afterwards due to all four ties being settled on the day.
