Bournemouth welcome Millwall to the Vitaly Stadium in a rearranged Sky Bet Championship clash.
Victory will send Bournemouth second whilst Millwall look to climb above Coventry into 16th with victory.
Team News
Jack Stacey could return in league action for Bournemouth after a knee injury sidelined him since November, until he returned in Saturday’s FA Cup win over Oldham.
Chris Mepham (calf) remains sidelined but Arnaut Danjuma faces a fitness check due to a ongoing hamstring injury.
Millwall will be without Murray Wallace after he was sent off in their league defeat against Coventry on New Year weekend.
Connor Mahoney (quad) and Billy Mitchell (hamstring) remain ruled out.
Stat Attack
- Bournemouth have lost just one of their last five league meetings against Millwall (W3, D1, L1).
- Millwall have won just one of their last five trips to Bournemouth (W1, D1, L3).
- Junior Stanislas has scored six goals in the Cherries’ last four home league matches.
Prediction
Bournemouth had to dig deep in the first-half of Saturday’s win over Oldham but their superior quality eventually shone through, which will be a timely boost coming into this game given that a win could boost their promotion hopes.
Millwall meanwhile were simply dominant at Boreham Wood in their clash yet only scored twice, so will certainly be looking to continue that performance as they seek to reverse their drop in form.
I however can’t see Bournemouth not winning this given their home form but Millwall should give them a good battle.
Prediction: Bournemouth 2-0 Millwall
Result: Bournemouth 1-1 Millwall
