Following Lewis Hamilton’s record-breaking weekend in Portugal, Formula One heads 1,510.8 miles to Imola for a two-day 2020 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix weekend.
Mercedes can claim a seventh consecutive Constructor title here if they can avoid being outscored by Red Bull by 33 points after heading into this weekend with a 209 point lead and a maximum of 176 points will be on offer following this weekend.

- With just a single 90 minute practice session this weekend, reliability will be key if every driver is to successfully complete their programmes in terms of one lap and race simulations.
- With this circuit being fast flowing like Mugello, Renault should be right in the mix against Racing Point for third best car with a potential podium opportunity on offer if any of Mercedes or Red Bull drivers suffer reliability issues.
- Expect to see Ferrari powered cars could well struggle here like they did at Mugello due to the track’s characteristics not favouring them in terms of speed, although Ferrari’s recent upgrades should help limit their deficit.
