2019-20 Premier League: Week 34 – Sheffield United vs Wolves

Sheffield United welcome Wolves to Bramall Lane in a huge clash in the race for Europe, as Utd look to push for seventh whilst Wolves aim for top four.

Sheffield Utd could climb into seventh with victory depending on how Arsenal fare against Leicester on Tuesday evening, whilst Wolves need a win to reignite their top five ambition.

Sheffield Utd have no fresh injury concerns as John Lundstram remains out with a shoulder injury.

John Fleck, Luke Freeman and Leon Clarke are also absent with unspecified injuries.

Wolves could be without Pedro Neto due to a knock suffered in Saturday’s loss to Arsenal.

Prediction

If Sheffield Utd hadn’t of had that shaky start then this could of been an epic six-pointer in the race for top five, yet we still have an interesting clash because Wolves need a win to keep their top five ambition realistically alive.

Chris Wilder’s Blades however have shown in the past week that when they’re solid, they are dangerous on the attack in various ways which Wolves will need to be wary of when going forward.

I therefore am anticipating a competitive match because both teams are equally strong on their good days, although Wolves need a goal to ensure that Saturday was simply an off day and nothing more so am going for a score draw.

Prediction: Sheffield United 1-1 Wolves

Result: Sheffield United 1-0 Wolves
