Relegation-battling Sheffield United face title-chasing Arsenal at Bramall Lane.
A draw would lift Sheffield Utd off the foot of the table but victory would move them to within eight points of safety, whilst Arsenal will stay third regardless of the result but a win would put them back to within two points of league leaders – Liverpool.

Stat Attack
- Sheffield Utd are winless in their last four league meetings against Arsenal (D1, L3).
- Arsenal have won one of their five previous Premier League visits to Sheffield Utd (W1, D2, L2).
- Sheffield Utd have scored in four of their five Premier League games at home to Arsenal, except for 3-0 loss in April 2021.
- No Sheffield Utd player has lost more aerial battles than Oli McBurnie with the Scottish forward having lost 70 of his 142 aerial battles in the league this season.
- Bukayo Saka has scored six goals in Arsenal’s last four away matches in the league (W3, L1).
Prediction
Currently 11 points adrift of safety, Sheffield Utd know that victories over Arsenal and Bournemouth in the next weeek are needed if want to give themselves a chance at survival.
Chris Wilder’s Blades though can take heart from their efforts at Wolves despite having lacked end product needed to snatch a draw, yet they need to now be more united after a silly squabble between Vinicius Souza and Jack Robinson because this is a huge test of their unity on a defensive level.
Arsenal meanwhile absolutely tore Newcastle to shreds with a dominant attacking press which simply overwhelmed the Magpies, which is a serious warning for their title rivals because Mikel Arteta’s Gunners are now in red-hot unstoppable form domestically.
In fact I can’t see them losing this but it will be a case of how many goals can they hammer past the hapless Blades, who have conceded five goals in their last two home games but surely will be better to some extent here.
Prediction: Sheffield United 0-3 Arsenal
Result: Sheffield United 0-6 Arsenal
