Leeds United welcome Fulham to Elland Road in Saturday’s blockbuster Sky Bet Championship clash, as both teams look to boost their automatic promotion dreams.
Victory will send Leeds top after West Brom lost at Brentford on Friday, whilst Fulham can reclaim third from the Bees with a win.

Barry Douglas (calf) is also set to return but Kiko Casilla (suspension) and Adam Forshaw (hip) are still absent.
Fulham are expecting to have Terence Kongolo and Alfie Mawson available after recovering from respective foot and knee injuries.
Stat Attack
- Leeds are winless in their last seven meetings against Fulham (D5, L2).
- Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored in the Cottagers’ last two matches against Leeds, albeit at home at Craven Cottage.
- Leeds have lost one of their last six home games against Fulham (W2, D3, L1).
Prediction
This is a huge game for the promotion hopes of both teams because Leeds need a win to avoid the late season freefall of recent campaigns, whereas Fulham know that defeat here could severely damage their automatic promotion hopes.
Add in the fact that both teams dominated in their games last week yet lost by 2-0 results, then you have to wonder who is the more hungry for promotion which for me is Fulham if their attack can step up in these remaining games spearheaded by Mitrovic.
Elland Road however hasn’t been a strong ground for the Cottagers so I am going for a score draw here.
Prediction: Leeds United 1-1 Fulham
Result: Leeds United 3-0 Fulham
