Brentford look to thrust themselves into the promotion mix as they welcome West Bromwich Albion to Griffin Park in Friday Night Football from Sky Bet Championship.
A win for the Bees would see them climb above Fulham into third whilst West Brom can move three points clear of Leeds at the summit with victory.

Bryan Mbeumo is set to return for Brentford after missing last Saturday’s win at Fulham, having tested positive for Coronavirus.
Sergi Canos and Nikos Karelis both remain absent with long-term knee injuries.
West Brom have no fresh injury concerns to report as Jonathan Leko and Nathan Ferguson still ruled out with knee injuries.
- Brentford are unbeaten in three of last five meetings against West Brom in all competitions (W1, D2, L2).
- Only one of West Brom’s last three championship goals in this fixture has come before half time.
- Brentford have taken just ten points out of a possible 45 available points from 15 previous league meetings against the Baggies (W2, D4, L9).
This is a huge match for Brentford’s automatic promotion hopes because victory here would put them in a strong position to mount a late charge and avoid the Play-Offs.
West Brom however survived a rusty return performance to somehow go top, although they need to show that uncharacteristically sloppy performance was an one-off otherwise Brentford will push them all the way with a wide berth of attacking options.
I therefore am expecting to see a good attacking game here but West Brom however has often been the Bees’ Achilles heel, so a draw would be a good result but I have a feeling that the Baggies might just win this.
Prediction: Brentford 0-1 WBA
Result: Brentford 1-0 WBA
