With qualification for the Knockout stage confirmed, Celtic can take a huge step towards winning Group E if they beat Rennes at Celtic Park.
Their table topping status could also be confirmed if they take all three points and CFR Cluj loses to Lazio, otherwise the pair will battle for top spot when they meet in a fortnight’s time.

Striker, Mohamed Elyounoussi is sidelined with a foot injury alongside Boli Bolingoli (hamstring, Jozo Simunovic, Vakoun Bayo and Hatem Abd Elhamed (all knee).
Rennes will be without Raphinha and Eduardo Camavinga (muscle) but otherwise have a full squad available.

- Celtic are unbeaten in three previous meetings with Rennes (W1, D2).
- Rennes lost their only previous visit to Celtic Park in the 2011-12 Europa League, losing 3-1 in November 2011 after a 1-1 draw at home.
- Celtic have lost just one of their last three home games against French opposition, losing 5-0 to PSG last season in the Champions League Group Stage.
Prediction
Both teams already know their fates so I am expecting an entertaining game of attacking football between both teams.
Rennes however seem to be prioritising their Ligue 1 clash with Saint Etienne on Sunday given how tight the league table is, which will be to Celtic’s liking because they might have an easy night against fringe players.
I therefore am going for a home win but Rennes will try and put up a decent fight.
