After 20 races and 1,207 racing laps, Formula One prepares to bring down the curtains on a brilliant season at the 2019 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The important bits might already be wrapped up but there is the small matter of Bronze to settle as Red Bull’s Max Verstappen take on Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in the race for third.
Renault meanwhile can secure fifth if Toro Rosso fails to outscore them by eight points or more, whilst Racing Point need a freak result to realistically pip both teams to fifth.
Mercedes meanwhile will look to bring the season full circle with a one-two finish, so here is our guide to the 2019 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Three Key Pointers
- The several straights should suit Ferrari on one lap pace but their race management could be key, particularly given that Leclerc needs a podium to realistically push for third in the Drivers’ Championship.
- Reliability will be key for all teams with so many power units coming towards the end of their life.
- McLaren have struggled around this track in recent years but a strong car and tyre compounds available should ensure a strong weekend.
