Sheffield United welcome Leicester City to Bramall Lane as both teams look to continue their unbeaten starts to this season.
Victory will lift the Blades closer to the top four whilst Leicester are still looking for their first win after two consecutive draws.
Team news
Embed from Getty ImagesSheffield United could hand late fitness tests to Callum Robinson and John Fleck after the pair suffered hamstring injuries, during their win over Crystal Palace last Sunday.
Other than those two, Chris Wilder has a full squad available for selection.
Leicester have a full squad available with Ben Chilwell their only likely absentee, as he struggles to overcome a hip injury although he could make the bench if passes a late fitness test.
Form
Sheffield United come into this game with four points from their opening two games, having beaten Palace last weekend after drawing their opener at Bournemouth.
Leicester meanwhile have drawn both of their opening two matches against Wolves and Chelsea respectively.
Stat Attack
- Sheffield United have lost three of their last five meetings with Leicester in all competitions (D2, L3).
- At home, the Blades have taken ten points from their last five league meetings with Leicester (W3, D1, L1).
- The last six goals in this fixture have all come in the second half, with Leicester netting five of those goals to Sheffield United’s one.
- No players from their last league meeting in February 2011 remain at either clubs.
- Sheffield United’s Enda Stevens has committed six fouls in two games this season, although Palace’s Luka Milivojevic is the only player to commit more having made 10 fouls.
Prediction
Either teams have been particularly impressive so far but for Sheffield United, this is their first proper test against a top quality team.
I am therefore expecting a close game but if Leicester can discover that clinical touch to finish off their chances, I can see a narrow away win.
Prediction: Sheffield United 1-2 Leicester City
Result: Sheffield United 1-2 Leicester City
