Liverpool moved back top of the Premier League after a dramatic goal filled weekend throughout the table.
With Manchester City having already played their fixture a few weeks ago, Liverpool played out a goalless draw at Manchester United to move back to the league summit by a point.
That point was enough for them to stretch their lead over third-placed Tottenham Hotspur to six points, after the North Londoners fell to a shock 2-1 loss at Burnley when Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes scored either side of Harry Kane’s 71st minute strike.
Man Utd however slipped to fifth after Arsenal breezed past third-bottom Southampton with early strikes from Alexandre Lacazette and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Fulham blew an early lead through Ryan Babel to lose 3-1 at West Ham, as Javier Hernandez, Issa Diop and Michail Antonio completed the Hammers’ comeback.

That loss proved to be Claude Puel’s last game in charge of Leicester, as he was dismissed the following morning.

Finally, Wolves were held by Bournemouth in a game which saw Joshua King and Raul Jimenez score from the penalty spot, before King fired a potential late winner wide from the spot.
