Relegation-battling Nottingham Forest host title-chasing Manchester City in a crucial Premier League showdown affecting both ends of the table.
Victory will lift Forest out of the relegation zone, whilst Man City could go top with a win only if Arsenal lose at home to Hull in the mid-afternoon kick-offs.
Team News
Forest have no fresh injury concerns to report after their 2-0 defeat at Brentford, as Igor Jesus looks set to return from a calf injury.
Nicolas Dominguez (muscle), and Nicolo Savona (knee) remain absent.
Man City too have no fresh injury concerns after their 3-2 win at RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
Antoine Semenyo remains sidelined with a knee injury.
When is Kick-Off?
Forest host Man City at the City Ground on Saturday 7 November at 5:30pm GMT, live on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Forest have won just one of their last nine Premier League meetings against Man City (W1, D3, L5).
- Man City have claimed seven points across three of their last six top-flight trips to Forest (W2, D1, L3).
- Xavier Schlager has won more tackles this season than any other Forest player (19).
- No Man City player has drawn more fouls in the top flight this season than Elliot Anderson (28).
Prediction
With just one point in their last five matches, Forest really need to put in a more clinical and defensively tighter performance because this is the only way that they can get anything from this game otherwise Oliver Glasner surely is set for the exit door.
Man City meanwhile hit a rut with defeats in their last two league games and scraped a win on penalties in the Carabao Cup but they certainly were clinical in their win at RB Leipzig, which hopefully has given them confidence to try and get their domestic campaign back to winning ways.
City’s defence though is still sloppy which will give Forest some hope but I do still think that City will have the edge.
Prediction: Forest 1-2 Man City
