Prediction
After starting the season with two ruthless wins in all competitions, Everton’s firepower issues were finally brought to the surface in a pretty wasteful display at Bournemouth but they crucially dug in defensively for a point with a late lucky equaliser.
Man Utd meanwhile have the opposite issues because their firepower is strong as evidenced by their comeback win over Ipswich, yet they aren’t exactly the most solid defensively with left-back a particular vulnerability so these next few months are going to be about clinical firepower and not conceding too often.
That is a risky game to play until the January transfer window opens especially when got Carabao Cup and Champions League fixtures to factor in, but Utd probably needs to just take it game by game and try to build momentum.
Everton though will give them a good fight but Utd probably should edge this if they maximise their attacking quality.
