Bromley have signed Northern Irish midfielder, George Saville from Luton Town for an undisclosed transfer fee.
Saville is Bromley’s 10th permanent signing – and 13th overall including three loan signings – of the summer transfer window, with the move reuniting him with former Millwall teammate – Ben Thompson.
The 33-year-old began his career at Chelsea but failed to make a single first team appearance amidst loan spells at Millwall and Brentford, of which he scored three goals in 44 appearances for the Bees in the 2013-14 season.
He then went on to net six goals in 57 appearances for Wolves between 2014-17 amidst loan stints at Bristol City – where he scored one goal in eight appearances and won the EFL Trophy – and Millwall – which saw him score no goals in 15 appearances – across the 2014-15 and 15-16 seasons.
A permanent move to Millwall followed for the 2017-18 season with 10 goals in 45 appearances and after just four appearances at the start of the 2018-19 season, he joined Middlesbrough where he delivered 12 goals in 118 appearances.
Another return to Millwall followed in summer 2021 which saw him regularly feature in the team with eight goals in 174 appearances, until he joined Luton last summer but only netted twice in 43 appearances for the Hatters as they won the EFL Trophy.
At international level, Saville represents Northern Ireland with 64 senior caps since his debut in 2017.
