Nottingham Forest have drawn Newcastle United in the Second Round of 2024-25 Carabao Cup.
Forest will play 2022-23 runners-up and Premier League rivals, Newcastle United at the City Ground in a tasty looking tie in a weak Northern Section.
Barnsley will entertain Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United at Oakwell in a Yorkshire derby.
Last season’s semi-finalists, Middlesbrough will play Stoke City at the Riverside Stadium, after Michael Carrick’s Boro cruised past Leeds in the opening round.
In the Southern Section, League Two’s Colchester United will host Brentford in a stand-out tie.
AFC Wimbledon’s reward for eliminating newcomers – Bromley, is a home tie against Premier League’s Ipswich Town.
Millwall will play Leyton Orient at The Den in a London derby between the two EFL clubs.
Ties will be played across 27-28 August 2024 with every match live on Sky Sports in the UK.
