Academy graduate. Tyreece Campbell has signed a new four-year contract at Charlton Athletic until June 2030.
The now 22-year-old winger joined Charlton at under-9s level and graduated through their academy ranks into the first-team squad, of which he has scored 21 goals in 173 senior appearances since his debut in February 2022.
Campbell has now signed a new four-year contract to stay with the Addicks at The Valley until June 2030, and is pleased to be able to continue his journey for the next four seasons at minimum.
“I’m really happy to sign a new long-term contract. This club means a lot to me, I’ve been here since I was nine years old and I’ve grown up here. I’m grateful for all of the people who have helped me on my journey. It’s been a really good start to the season for the team and myself and hopefully that continues.”
Charlton manager, Nathan Jones added that the winger affectionately nicknamed ‘TC’ has developed well under his “guidance”, and is pleased to see him stay after rejecting bids from other clubs for him.
“Ever since I came to the football club, TC has been someone that I earmarked as being a special talent. We just felt he needed guidance and a bit of time to turn into the player that we know he can be.
“We think tying down the players that we feel can really take us forward is as big as signing new players, so we’re delighted that he’s signed a new deal. We fought off a lot of competition and have turned down offers for him, and the great thing is that TC showed a real desire to sign.”
