Forward, Sidiki Cherif has joined Coventry City from Fenerbahce for an undisclosed transfer fee.
Cherif’s move to Coventry comes after just seven months at Fenerbahce in which he scored three goals in 15 appearances, having initially joined on loan from France’s Angers in February before his move was made permanent this summer.
Cherif has signed a long-term contract with Coventry for an undisclosed fee and is pleased to have a chance to play Premier League football.
“I’m very happy to be a Coventry City player and I’m excited to be playing in the Premier League.
“I’m looking forward to showing the fans what I can do and to play at the amazing stadium.
“I can’t wait to get started.”
The 19-year-old began his career in France with Angers where he scored four goals in 36 total appearances across two-and-a-half seasons, having made his debut in January 2024 as Angers lost 1-0 away to Laval in Ligue 2 en-route to promotion to Ligue 1 as runner-up that season.
