England have announced their squad numbers for 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Jordan Pickford has retained his favoured number 1 shirt as first-choice goalkeeper, whilst Dean Henderson and James Trafford have taken shirt numbers 13 and 23 respectively.
Ezri Konsa headlines the defensive number selection with the number 2 shirt, whilst Nico O’Reilly, John Stones, Marc Guehi, Tino Livramento, Dan Burn, Reece James, Djed Spence and Jarell Quansah will take shirt numbers; 3, 5, 6, 12, 15, 24, 25 and 26 respectively.
Declan Rice will wear shirt number 4 for the tournament amongst the midfielders, with Elliot Anderson, Jude Bellingham, Jordan Henderson, Kobbie Mainoo, Morgan Rogers, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze wearing shirt numbers; 8, 10, 14, 16, 17, 20 and 21 respectively.
As captain and first-choice forward, Harry Kane will wear the number 9 shirt, whilst expected starting wingers – Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford will take number 7 and 11 shirts.
Anthony Gordon has been handed shirt number 18 ahead of Ollie Watkins who will take shirt number 19, whilst surprise recall – Ivan Toney will wear shirt number 22.
Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions are currently out in Florida for a World Cup pre-camp ahead of their first warm-up friendly against New Zealand on Saturday 6 June, followed by a friendly against Costa Rica on Wednesday 10 June, with both matches kicking off at 9pm BST live on ITV1 and ITVX in the UK.
England then kick off their World Cup campaign against Croatia in Group L on 17 June before they face Ghana on 23 June (both 9pm BST), before facing Panama in their last group match on 27 June (10pm BST).
