Roundup of the Semi-Final action as the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League finalists became official.

Arsenal looked to end their 20-year Champions League Final drought as they met Atletico Madrid, whilst PSG looked to continue their title defence against Bayern Munich in a heavyweight clash between two of the title favourites.

Arsenal 2-1 Atletico Madrid

Viktor Gyokeres’ penalty was cancelled out by a spot-kick from Julian Alvarez as Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw in the first leg at Atletico, in a clash which saw Arsenal denied a second penalty after David Hancko fouled Eberechi Eze yet VAR overturned the spot-kick in a heated clash.

Bukayo Saka eventually fired Arsenal into their first Champions League Final since 2006 with a 44th-minute winner in a 1-0 second-leg victory at home, after the winger tapped in from Jan Oblak’s deflection of Leandro Trossard’s shot to seal a 2-1 aggregate win.

Bayern Munich 5-6 PSG

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembele’s braces plus Joao Neves’ effort saw PSG clinch a 5-4 first-leg victory at home against Bayern, after Harry Kane initially fired the German club ahead from the spot before Michael Olise, Dayot Upamecano and Luis Diaz netted consolatory goals.

PSG eventually moved one step closer towards defending their title with a 6-5 aggregate win after Dembele netted a third-minute aggregate clincher in a 1-1 second leg draw away at Bayern’s Allianz Arena, as Harry Kane netted a 94th-minute equalise for the German hosts on the night.
