As the dust settles on Bromley’s 2025-26 season, here’s a roundup of the players and fans’ reaction to their League Two title success.
Goals from Ben Thompson, Mitch Pinnock and Omar Sowunmi saw Bromley defeat Walsall 3-1 at home on the final day of the campaign to finish the season unbeaten at home, but also saw them crowned League Two champions after MK Dons stuttered to a 1-1 draw at Fleetwood Town.
Confirmation of MK Dons’ draw came moments after the full-time whistle blew at the CopperJax Stadium, which left the entire place briefly silent and nervy before celebrations erupted as confirmation of the title arrived and carried on into the evening.
Second-choice goalkeeper, Sam Long fittingly summed up the crazy celebrations in a post on X bemusing the merit of the inevitable hangover that befell many members of the club on and off pitch plus fans the morning after, as the players began to share their thoughts across social media.

Defender, Carl Jenkinson overcame a hip injury which sidelined him in the first half of the season and eventually made five appearances, in what appeared to be his second and last season at the club as he penned a post on Instagram hinting at his exit after a “memorable” time in South London.
Manager, Andy Woodman paid tribute to his playing squad for their efforts as he praised them showing belief in and “relentlessly” working hard to achieve his vision.
Could be prouder of a group of players and human beings and a group of staff. They have worked “relentlessly” and have believed in my vision and help achieve it! Last and not least to the Bromley Fans, where your shirt with pride!!! “Bromley fc are champions of league 2”❤️

When we sealed promotion I said the title meant absolutely nothing and it didn’t matter what happened from there.
The moment reality hit at full time today, it became clear that it genuinely did.
No words can put this achievement into perspective @bromleyfc https://t.co/YE1ZYfSiXn

Remarkable achievement from Bromley winning League Two with their minute budget. Never played in League One before and now they’ll do so as reigning League two champions. Amazing!

Congratulations to @bromleyfc – champions of EFL League Two and now heading into League One.
It’s hard to put into words what a journey this has been. I still think back to around 2013, going along with my late father, more to keep him company than any real interest in the game,… pic.twitter.com/SiGtWnpExV
