2025-26 Premier League: Week 34 – West Ham vs Everton

West Ham look to boost their Premier League survival hopes against top-seven chasing Everton.

Victory could move West Ham five points clear of the relegation zone if Tottenham lose at Wolves, whilst Everton can go seventh with a win.

Team News

West Ham have no fresh injury concerns to report after their goalless draw at Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

Everton will be without defender, Jarrad Branthwaite after he suffered a hamstring injury during their Merseyside derby defeat against Liverpool.

Beto (head) is a doubt but Jack Grealish (foot) remains absent.

When is Kick-Off?

West Ham host Everton at London Stadium on Saturday 25 April at 15:00pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Having missed a chance to move four points clear of the drop on Monday evening, West Ham now need to continue their positive start to the run-in because aside from their home game against Arsenal, their remaining games are all winnable if can be more clinical than they were at Palace.

Everton meanwhile must put their late defeat to Liverpool behind them because this is a huge opportunity to go seventh and close in on a potential European spot, although they need to be more clinical when on top than they were in the Merseyside derby.

I however do think that West Ham’s motivation in their fight for survival will just be marginally greater than Everton’s push for European qualification, but this will be a good competitive scrap between two teams who know how to battle the drop in recent seasons.

Prediction: West Ham 2-1 Everton

Result: West Ham 2-1 Everton
