2025-26 Premier League: Week 30 – Forest vs Fulham

Nottingham Forest continue to fight for Premier League survival as they host Fulham.

Victory could lift Forest as high as 15th in the table if Leeds lose elsewhere, whilst Fulham can climb up to eighth if win by two goals or more.

Team News

Jair Cunha is a doubt for Forest after he suffered a foot injury in their 1-0 loss to Midtjylland in the first leg of their Europa League’s Round of 16 tie.

Dan Ndoye (knock) is unlikely to feature.

Stefan Ortega (calf), Willy Boly, Nicolo Savona, John Victor and Chris Wood (all knee) remain absent.

Fulham have no fresh injury concerns to report following their shock FA Cup exit at home to Southampton last Sunday.

Harry Wilson (ankle) could return if he passes late fitness checks, but Kevin (metatarsal) is still ruled out.

When is Kick-Off?

Forest host Fulham at the City Ground on Sunday 15 March at 2pm GMT, live on Sky Sports Premier League in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Forest have won one of their last seven league meetings against Fulham (W1, L6).
  • Fulham have claimed 16 points from their last seven league visits to Forest (W5, D1, L1).
  • Raul Jimenez has scored in two of Fulham’s last three meetings against Forest, with his goals having both came in 1-0 wins for the Cottagers.
  • Forest have failed to score in four of their last five league matches at home (D3, L2), except for a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace in February.
  • Alex Iwobi has scored in two of Fulham’s last three league matches (W2, L1).

Prediction

Following their narrow defeat to Midtjylland on Thursday evening, Forest now have a choice as to where their priority lies because they can go weak here and focus on trying to stage a second-leg comeback in Europe or go strong and prioritise their survival bid.

Having suffered a pair of narrow 1-0 home defeats against West Ham and Southampton in Premier League and FA Cup respectively in their last two matches, Fulham now need to reset because the league is their only route towards potential European qualification and be more clinical.

Either way both teams know that victory is imperative in both of their separate missions so this could well be quite a tight game, but I do expect a stronger reaction from Fulham who were just lacklustre in their FA Cup exit and for them to nick this.

Prediction: Forest 0-1 Fulham

Result: Forest 0-0 Fulham
