2025-26 Sky Bet Championship: Week 38 – Friday

Wrexham continue their play-off push against Swansea as the weekend’s Sky Bet Championship action commences.

Victory would see Wrexham stay sixth for another matchweek, whilst Swansea can climb to seventh until at least Saturday afternoon.

Team News

Kieffer Moore is ruled out for Wrexham after he missed their 2-1 midweek loss against Hull due to a tendon injury.

George Dobson (suspension), Matty James (toe), Liberato Cacace (hamstring) and Ben Sheaf (knee) remain absent.

Swansea have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 2-1 win at Portsmouth.

Adam Idah (hamstring) and Zeidane Inoussa (back) remain sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Wrexham host Swansea at STOK Racecourse Ground on Friday 13 March at 8pm GMT, live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Prediction

Having missed a chance to close in on the automatic promotion chasing pack following their sloppy defeat against Hull, Wrexham just need to regroup and produce a strong reaction if want to keep control of the last play-off spot with a polished performance.

Swansea meanwhile have found some momentum in their last five games but they really need a consistent winning run if want to push for that last play-off spot which their Welsh rivals currently hold, but they can take confidence from their wins over Portsmouth and Stoke in the last week.

I am therefore expecting another proper scrap akin to what we saw in Swansea in mid December but I do think that this could well be a draw this time if Wrexham can be better defensively.

Prediction: Wrexham 1-1 Swansea

Result: Wrexham 2-0 Swansea
