2025-26 Premier League: Week 27 – Brentford vs Brighton

Brentford face Brighton & Hove Albion in a huge Premier League clash affecting both ends of the table.

Victory will lift Brentford up to sixth until Sunday afternoon, whilst Brighton can move up to 12th with a win.

Team News

Kevin Schade is available for Brentford after he completed his three-match suspension, with manager – Keith Andrews otherwise having no fresh injury concerns after their FA Cup victory at Macclesfield.

Fabio Carvalho, Josh Dasilva and Antoni Milambo (all ACL) remain sidelined.

Brighton could welcome Solly March back into contention for the first time since May 2025, having been sidelined with a knee injury.

Yasin Ayari (shoulder), Stefanos Tzimas (ACL) and Adam Webster (knee) remain sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Brentford host Brighton at Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday 21 February at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Having benefitted from an own-goal to scrape past Macclesfield amidst several changes and Igor Thiago left out completely which I thought was risky, Brentford though will benefit from having several fresh players available here so I do expect a strong performance in what is a winnable game for them.

Brighton meanwhile just seem to be in a rut and will of been disappointed in how wasteful they were in their FA Cup defeat at Liverpool; having failed to score from three shots on target out of 18 overall shots, which is a worry coming against a team unbeaten this month.

Although I do hope that Brighton can stop their rot soon because they’re capable of fighting for European qualification, I just don’t see Brentford losing this such is their quality and form.

Prediction: Brentford 2-0 Brighton

Result: Brentford 0-2 Brighton
