Prediction
In their recent matches, West Ham have been much stronger in the first half which might help them if they can start well and test Utd’s defence with their aggressive pressing play, but they did well to manage the second half at Burnley to get a rare clean sheet despite the defensive second-half tactics and substitutions.
Man Utd meanwhile absolutely cruised to a clinical victory over Tottenham but they really should of had more goals such was the contrast in quality, but they might now need to just weather West Ham’s attacking intensity in the first half and try to stay in the game.
If they do that and can keep any deficit to a single goal or even goalless at half time, I expect Utd to go on and win the match but West Ham will definitely give them a proper test such has been the simultaneous improvement in both teams’ attacking play and results.
