Cole Palmer has signed a new eight-year contract at Chelsea until June 2034.
Palmer’s new eight-year contract comes after a solid start to the season saw him score four goals in seven appearances across all competitions.
The 24-year-old also has won the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup during his three years at Chelsea, and has recorded 58 goals and 33 assists in 138 total appearances in all competitions.
“Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I’m delighted to sign and I’m obviously very happy,” explained Palmer upon signing his new contract following discussions with the club staff and his teammates on their long-term ambitions.
“Speaking to the owners, to the sporting directors and obviously the manager, they gave me a lot of confidence so it was only right to sign.
“Speaking to players as well, everyone has the same ambitions. I feel like we win major trophies here consistently and I want to be a part of that and play a big role in it too.”
