Bromley have signed defender, Jesse Debrah on loan from Port Vale until the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.

Debrah’s loan comes after he scored one goal in 25 appearances for League One strugglers, Port Vale so far this season, and could see him achieve successive promotions from League Two if Bromley go up after he featured in the Valiants’ promotion-winning squad last season.

In his first interview as a Raven, the 25-year-old defender born in Croydon iterated that promotion is the ambition for him in the remainder of the season.

“I want to come here and get promoted with Bromley – Bromley’s my local team and it would be very special to me and to the club. I want to continue the good work that has been done, and I feel like together we can achieve that.”

Debrah began his career at Charlton at youth level before he moved to Millwall where he made no senior appearances, amidst loans at Billericay Town, Eastbourne Borough and Dulwich Hamlet between 2018-20 seasons, before he joined the latter permanently in summer 2020.

He went on to spend two seasons at Halifax Town where he scored three goals in 67 appearances before he joined Port Vale in September 2023, and was part of the team which got relegated from League One at the end of that season only to immediately gain promotion back to the third tier at the end of last season.
