Prediction
With one win in their last five matches, Barnsley really need to win this game if want to keep pace with their fellow play-off challengers and that involves a serious tightening up of their defensive play, otherwise they could need some luck elsewhere if want to get back in the play-off hunt come March time.
Lincoln City meanwhile dominated Stockport despite only converting five of 21 shots onto target, but their winner did come from the penalty spot so a more clinical open play would be nice here although there will be natural squad rotation in this congested period of fixtures.
That grinder of a victory though will give the Imps some belief but their away form in the past near-three months hasn’t been the best, although I do think that the result at Stockport is their turning point to get back on track and that should continue here if Barnsley’s defence is still careless.
