Fulham host Nottingham Forest in a bottom-half Premier League clash at Craven Cottage.
Victory could lift Fulham as high as 11th in the table, whilst Forest can leapfrog their hosts with a win into 15th position.
Team News
Sasa Lukic is a doubt for Fulham after he suffered a groin injury during their Carabao Cup exit at Newcastle.
Calvin Bassey, Samuel Chukwueze, Alex Iwobi (all international duty), Rodrigo Muniz and Ryan Sessegnon (both hamstring) remain absent.
Forest will be without Willy Boly and Ibrahim Sangare who are both away at Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast.
Matz Sels (groin) and Nicolas Dominguez (knee) are both set to be available, but Chris Wood (knee), Taiwo Awoniyi (muscle), Ryan Yates and Ola Aina (both hamstring) are still ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Fulham host Forest at Craven Cottage on Monday 22 December at 8pm GMT, live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Fulham have won five of their last six Premier League meetings against Forest (W5, L1).
- Forest are yet to win away at Fulham in the Premier League (L3), having scored one goal and conceded nine goals across their three previous visits.
- Fulham have kept clean sheets in three of their last five meetings against Forest.
- Fulham’s Harry Wilson is looking to score in three consecutive league games for the first time since April 2023.
- Forest are yet to win away to London-based opposition this season (D1, L1).
Prediction
Now that their Carabao Cup run is over after a close Quarter-Final tie in which they did well to go toe-to-toe with Newcastle in the first half, Fulham just need to keep building confidence in their performances because their second-half defending without Bassey was surprisingly resilient.
Forest meanwhile just had more energy and quality than Tottenham in their 3-0 win over the North Londoners in terms of their pressing intensity and movement, during which they looked in control throughout and this period is now going to be crucial to moving away from the drop before Europa League action resumes.
Although Forest have lost all three previous Premier League trips to Fulham, I do think that they should this time have enough to hold the Cottagers to a draw.
Prediction: Fulham 1-1 Forest
Result: Fulham 1-0 Forest
