Burnley continue their fight for Premier League survival against Fulham at Turf Moor.
Victory by two goals or more would lift Burnley up to 18th in the table, whilst Fulham can climb to 13th with a win.
Team News
Lucas Pires is suspended for Burnley after he was sent off in their 2-1 defeat at Newcastle last weekend.
Kyle Walker too is absent after he collected his fifth booking of the season in that match.
Hannibal Mejbri (suspension), Bashir Humphreys (unspecified), Zeki Amdouni (knee), Axel Tuanzebe (muscle), Conor Roberts (Achilles) and Jordan Beyer (hamstring) remain sidelined.
Fulham will be without full-back, Ryan Sessegnon after he suffered a hamstring injury in training prior to their 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace last weekend.
Rodrigo Muniz (hamstring) and Antonee Robinson (knee) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
Burnley face Fulham at Turf Moor on Saturday 13 December at 5:30pm GMT, live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Burnley are unbeaten in their last five league meetings against Fulham (W3, D2).
- Fulham are yet to win away at Burnley in the Premier League (D3, L1).
- Burnley have won two of their last three meetings against Fulham by 2-0 results, whilst the other clash ended in a 2-2 draw.
- No Burnley player has completed more passes this season than Josh Cullen (619).
- Harry Wilson has scored in two of Fulham’s last three matches (W1, L2).
Prediction
Stuck in a relegation scrap, it is games like this that Burnley realistically need to win if want any chances of staying up but they’re going to need to be more clinical and sharp than they were when on top at Newcastle amidst costly defensive mistakes.
Fulham meanwhile just lacked the finishing touches too often in a pretty even battle against Palace but their attack has improved lately despite the results suggesting otherwise, so I expect them to view this as winnable given Burnley’s defensive vulnerabilities out wide which should suit their wingers like Harry Wilson and co.
Nevertheless Fulham are yet to win away at Burnley in the Premier League but on current form, I can see that stat changing here.
Prediction: Burnley 1-2 Fulham
Result: Burnley 2-3 Fulham
